Role: Head of Dispute Resolution/ Litigation

I'm currently looking for an experienced solicitor which specialises in Commercial Litigation or Dispute Resolution to head up the department of a well established litigation team at a top regional firm, based in Birmingham. For this, you will ideally be 6+ PQE.

Department Leadership:

-Foster a dynamic and high-performing Dispute Resolution Department by providing strategic guidance and mentorship.
-Drive growth and excellence by developing and implementing innovative goals, strategies, and initiatives that align with the department's vision.
-Create a collaborative and productive work environment by offering personalised support and guidance to team members.

Dispute Resolution and Litigation:

-Expertly navigate complex disputes, leveraging exceptional negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation skills to achieve successful outcomes.
-Develop and execute tailored legal strategies that prioritise clients' interests and objectives in a variety of disputes.
-Ensure timely and cost-effective resolutions while maintaining the highest ethical standards, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
-Streamline invoicing and debt collection processes for self and team members.

Client Relationships and Business Development:

-Establish and maintain long-lasting, value-driven relationships with clients by delivering exceptional legal services that address their unique needs and goals.
-Collaborate closely with clients to anticipate potential disputes and provide proactive legal advice to prevent conflicts.
-Identify opportunities for growth and lead efforts to attract new clients through strategic partnerships and networking.
-Develop and maintain a strong professional network within the legal community and related industries.
