We have a new, purpose-built Nursery in Bedfordshire, which is seeking either a Level 2 / 3 Nursery Practitioner. This setting offers the perfect blend of nature-inspired facilities within a modern environment, including a fantastic garden to spark curiosity and imagination.

It has light and airy rooms and they encourage their child’s development through real life, hands on experiences and growing fresh produce in their innovative garden. Inside there just as much fun to be had with cutting edge equipment designed to stimulate the childrens’ senses.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education for young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Implementing engaging activities, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining a nurturing environment, you will contribute to creating a positive and enriching early childhood experience.

Responsibilities:

• The Nursery Practitioner will build strong and positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages the children's curiosity and exploration
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, fostering a love for learning and development
• Provide daily care routines, ensuring the well-being and happiness of each child
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with parents

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Recognised Level 2 / 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience in a childcare setting, with leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
