The Company

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Engineer Project Manager to join a Civil Engineering and Infrastructure consultancy, reporting to the Cornwall office on a hybrid basis.

The Role

As a technically competent and skilled individual with suitable experience in infrastructure design, you will grow and develop a team of technicians and engineers within the design division as Engineer Project Manager. It will be your responsibility to oversee the delivery of a range of multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate design solutions for Civil Engineering schemes
  • Efficiently manage project deliverables
  • Deliver designs in accordance with relevant design standards
  • Creating design solutions for overcoming obstacles
  • Liaise with stakeholders and clients positively and profitable
  • Use current software to design, check and audit designs
  • Effectively grow, mentor, and oversee and team
Requirements
  • Relevant Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering
  • Experience using design software
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering multiple projects
  • Demonstrate excellent technical competency
  • Confidence managing projects and teams remotely
  • Cornwall-based or able to commute
  • Full clean driver’s license
