Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at a primary school in Beeston. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support and ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Help create a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3)
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
