Airfreight Operations Coordinator (Export) 

Office based near Sutton Coldfield (Hybrid considered).

Hours: Monday-Friday 0830hrs – 1700hrs with 1 hour for lunch.

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

Role:

Working within the busy Import and Export operations department reporting to the Airfreight Operations Manager.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years freight forwarding industry knowledge.
• The role will predominantly be Airfreight Export operations focussed; however, knowledge of Import air and ocean freight operations would be advantageous.
• Experience with Cargowise is essential

Job Role & Skills: 

• Arranging Export airfreight shipments from start to finish.
• Booking with selected carriers, processing relevant documentation and processing invoices on time.
• Submitting export customs declarations in the system Cargowise.
• Hands on approach with all aspects of the forwarding process.
• High communication skills and ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Build internal relationships with colleagues and externally with customers, suppliers, and our own overseas colleagues.
• Proactive with strong organisation skills.
• Building and developing strong customer relationships.
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative and without supervision.
• Adhere to our ISO compliance regulations.
• Knowledge of Airfreight pricing an advantage.
• Knowledge of Airfreight Import operations an advantage.
• Knowledge of Ocean freight operations an advantage.
• Knowledge of hazardous cargo an advantage.
