We are currently partnering with a family run car dealership in Bristol, to find a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their team. The role:

As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership's service department. You will be the first point of contact for customers who require maintenance or repairs on their vehicles, and your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Listening to customers' concerns and documenting vehicle issues accurately.
  • Coordinating appointments and scheduling service appointments.
  • Providing cost estimates and explaining repair options to customers.
  • Liaising with the dealership's service technicians to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs.
  • Keeping customers informed about the progress of their vehicle service.
  • Ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Raising job cars, WIPs and Invoicing.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry is essential (6 months plus)
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and terminology is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency for record-keeping and appointment scheduling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
