Legal Secretary - Conveyancing

We are working with our fantastic client based in Ashby-de-La-Zouch who are looking for a Legal Secretary initially on a temporary basis.
The main purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the conveyancing team that deal with high volume workloads. You will be getting involved with clients & the drafting of documents too.
To be considered for the Legal Secretary role, you’ll require the following:
- Proven experience working as a legal secretary ideally within conveyancing
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and case management systems
- Confident & professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Strong organisational skills with fantastic attention to detail
Within this Conveyancing team, you’ll also be:
- Handling incoming calls in a professional manner
- Taking messages accurately & passing them on the relevant person/department
- Liaising with clients via phone, email and face to face
- Managing diaries for the fee earners, making appointments & arranging meetings
- Opening and monitoring case files within the CRM system
- Preparing correspondence and documents through audiotyping
- Tracking attendance and updating on the system
- Providing support to other secretaries where required
- Carrying out general admin duties such as scanning, photocopying, printing, and filing
- Ensuring confidentiality at all times
Salary & Working Hours and Benefits
Salary is £12 - £14 per hour, dependant on experience
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch break
