About Us: Our client is a leading provider of high-quality maintenance and refurbishment services across London, Hertfordshire, and the South East. They pride themselves on delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship to our diverse client base, ranging from residential properties to commercial spaces. Due to continued growth, my client are seeking an experienced and dedicated Contract Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Description: As a Contract Manager specialising in maintenance and refurbishment, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will be the key point of contact for clients, managing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee multiple maintenance and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Coordinate and manage site teams, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.
  • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the maintenance and refurbishment sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Proficient in using project management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across London, Hertfordshire, and the South East.
