Deputy Manager

This role comes with a yearly salary range of £30,000 - £35,000. As a Deputy Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Deputising for the Registered Manager as required and taking full responsibility and accountability for the running of the home in their absence.
- Ensuring a consistently high standard of care in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations and standards.
- Leading, exemplifying and evaluating excellent practice within your staff teams.
- Monitoring and revising young people’s care and placement plans to ensure their needs are being met.
- Communicating consistently between parents and the home, ensuring they are informed of all relevant information relating to their child.
- Promoting and implementing the company's Equality and Diversity policies and procedures.
- Ensuring the effectiveness of staff through regular support and supervision, development opportunities and the application of HR policies.
As a Deputy Manager, you'll receive:

- Knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations, Quality Standards, Ofsted inspection framework and all other relevant legislation and guidance.
- The ability to lead, train and mentor staff up to Team Leader level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to promote a culture of continuous professional development for all staff.
