Production Engineering Manager

We are working with a key client who have a track record stretching back over 40 years, they offer customers a very broad, but complimentary range of contract and sub-contract manufacturing capabilities. They are currently recruiting for the their site near Lancaster for an experienced Production Engineering Manager.

The Production Engineering Manager will need the following requirement:

• Must have hands on working experience as a Production Manager for a minimum of 4 years
• Experience of CNC Machining background is highly recommended
• Experience of working in Precision Engineering environment at least 10 years
• Experience of Mazak, Heidenhain or Fanuc will be considered
• IOSH and / or Nebosh qualification
• MRP/ERP literate
• Capacity Planning, Scheduling experience
• Experience of working in an AS9100 environment
• Continuous Improvement techniques
• Excellent man management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members

For the successful Production Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the effective leadership and management of the production department. You will be a high calibre leader with the ability to drive change to meet long-term growth plans. You will control the production and output of the company ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations for delivery OTIF and quality.

Hours of work: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4pm and Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm
