Key Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, manufacturable design solutions with a strong mechanical engineering aptitude.
• Utilise 3D CAD and analysis tools to create and assess component properties for optimal design (AutoCAD / Inventor).
• Participate in all aspects of product design and development, including validation, type approval, and production support.
• Work within a structured APQP new product development process.
• Provide design and technical engineering support for existing products.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer within fast-paced Manufacturing environment
• Degree qualified in relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline
• Experience with a variety of materials and metals.
• Exposure to NPD projects
• Competent use of GD& T / GPS would be desirable

Location: Rossendale
Permanent
Salary: £37k - £43k
Working Hours: Full Time, Mon-Fri, flexible.
