Are you a proactive and self-reliant Plater? Do you have experience working in mechanical production environments? If so, this position maybe the role you’ve been searching for! Our client is a pioneering engineering manufacturer, who provide a valuable service to the defence and sub-sea sectors (to name a few). Due to their catalogue of world-renowned customers and constant flow of work; this prestigious company are looking to add a Plater to their already successful team of manufacturing specialists.

7:30am – 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am – 12:30pm Friday

Job Description
  • Measuring, marking and cutting metals using a variety of machines and tools to align with technical drawings
  • Undertaking low level initial spot welds
  • Ensuring route card instructions are followed and all appropriate documentation is compiled with the highest level of accuracy
  • Supporting the team to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role in a highly regulated industry
  • Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
  • An accountable and positive attitude to all work tasks
  • Proficiency using a variety of measuring tools
