CNC Miller/Turner – Setter/Operator (Permanent)

Location: Leicester

Shifts Available:

• AM Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm (early finish on Friday at 11:30 am)
• PM Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm – 12:30 am

Rate of Pay:

• £15.95/hr – AM shift
• £16.95/hr – PM shift

Start Date: Immediate start available

Employment Type: Permanent from day one

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating milling machines in line with production times and customer specifications
• Selecting the correct tooling, fixtures, and programs from job setting sheets
• Producing quality components within specified tolerances
• Inspecting and measuring components using various gauges
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Complying with all company health, safety, and environmental procedures

The Candidate:

• Previous experience setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines
• Knowledge of Mori, Fanuc, Siemens controls, or other control systems is preferable
• Ability to select correct tooling, fixtures, and programs from job setting sheets
• Skilled in producing quality components to customer specifications
• Proficient in using various gauges for inspection and measurement
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Committed to complying with health, safety, and environmental rules
• Attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment
