Redline has a fantastic hybrid opportunity for a Contract Electronic Design Engineer, for a client of ours based in Derbyshire. As a result of recent project wins, our client is looking for extra resource in this skillset.

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.

Our client is a well known name within the communication technology industry offering a variety of different products for mission-critical and high-integrity applications. You will have the best of both worlds, being able to work within a collaborative environment alongside likeminded engineers, as well as the added benefit of being able to work fully remote with hybrid options if wanted.

They have recently won 3 major projects that you will be involved in, and you will be a key component of the success of those projects. Day-to-day activities within the role will include control and monitoring of analogue circuits, field schematics, PCB layout and bringing up boards.

Experience in the below skills needed for Contract Electronic Design Engineer - Derbyshire

- Altium and LT Spice for simulations

- Designing switch mode power supplies

- Working with STM 32 or ARM cortex microcontrollers

- Analogue electronics, including, switching, low loss switching and controlling gate basics on transistors

- Serial comms including, I2C, SPI or Ethernet
