Milestone Education are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team!

About the School:

Our partnered school is commited to providing exceptional education and support to all their students. Their aim is to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each child. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND, catering to their individual needs and learning styles. 
• Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt teaching materials and activities that are accessible and engaging for students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting support strategies as needed, 
• Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged. 
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and implementing behaviour support plans. 
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure a strong supportive network for students. 

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS Check
• Relevant work or personal experience supporting people with SEND
• Empathy and Patience: Demonstrate a compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to support students with diverse learning needs.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Salary: Competitive, based on the M1 - M6 teaching scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Coventry, Warwickshire
