Who will you be supporting?
Leatherhead Support Service provides supported living services for adults with visual impairment and learning disabilities. We specialise in supporting and assisting people with sight loss and offer individual personalised support in people's own homes which range from 7.5 to 38 hours per week. This may be assisting with reading mail, shopping, everyday household chores and low-level personal care (wet shaving, washing hair and hard to reach places). We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.
We provide support to 20 adult individuals of varying ages, who are determined to live life to the full, with supported independence. No two days are the same, our individuals enjoy going out into the community shopping, for dinner, going swimming, visiting pubs and places of worship. Ultimately, you will be supporting our individuals to feel safe in their homes and out in the community.
Our homes each have their own welcoming and experienced team of Support Workers, Deputy’s and Managers who will assist you in your journey and help your professional development.
