Transport Office Administrator

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for a Transport Office Administrator in Teynham, Kent 

This position is for a minimum of 3 months, after 3 months this role has the potential of becoming permanent. 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience working within a transport office or similar environment would be preferred 
  • Previous experience working in an admin based role 
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Good organisation skills
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and independently 

The role entails: 

  • Answering inbound telephone calls 
  • General administrative tasks including but not limited to, filing, scanning, etc.
  • Tracking loads 
  • Dealing with bookings for different customers, ensuring that all information is correctly recorded
  • Dealing with general enquiries 
  • Dealing with drivers, making sure all information is clearly communicated 

Other details:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 
  • 09:00 - 19:00 
  • £11.50 per hour + holiday pay
