Our Client

Our client specialises in refrigeration systems and provides sales and technical support across the UK and Ireland. They are seeking an experienced Service Manager with a strong background in refrigeration to support their Branch Manager in overseeing administration, financials, people management, and business development. The ideal candidate will also excel in customer relations and public relations, contributing to the growth and reputation of our company.

Operational Duties

  • Manage typical Service Manager duties while supporting the Branch Manager/Head of Service
  • Ensure all job costs remain within budget and communicate any deviations to the Branch Manager promptly.
  • Promptly raise invoices upon job completion to minimise work-in-progress.
  • Contribute to business growth in line with present targets.
  • Identify opportunities within our customer base for additional service sales.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential customers to generate new business.
  • Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and a business-like demeanour at all times.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation and market presence.

Management Duties

  • Assist the Branch Manager in efficiently managing engineers, maximising chargeable hours. 
  • Keep engineers informed about company procedures and relevant information to ensure professional representation of the company.
  • Support the Branch Manager in fostering effective teamwork, employee motivation, and morale within the region.

  • Strong background in refrigeration with comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration systems
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong self-confidence and assurance.

The Rewards

The company are willing to offer a competitive salary in the region of £55-65,000 + strong benefits package including annual bonus, private healthcare, life assurance, 25 days holiday + stats, pension and other flexible benefits.
