Time Served / Semi-skilled Wiremen

The Company
Our client is a leading Engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Panel Wirer for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area.
Time served would be desirable but are open to semi-skilled for the right candidate.
The Role
- Allocated workload for the assembly of various mechanical and electrical subs
- Panel preparation and panel wiring
- Wiring of process boxes
- Assembly of wiring kits
- Building panels from scratch, wiring up full units
- Measuring, marking holes, drilling out holes, measuring and cutting of trunking and din rails
- Populating panels with electrical components
- Measuring, cutting, and crimping of wires
- Following diagrams and drawings for the assembly of units
- Strict quality checks of components and full units
- Soldering components and re-wiring
- Carried out re-work and repairs
- Carried out assembly line work
- Prepped finished products ready to be moved to next stages of production or dispatch
The Person
- Preferably time served but semi-skilled would be considered
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Self-disciplined and reliable
- Excellent inter-personnel communication skills
- Enthusiastic, determined, self-disciplined and reliable
