Staffing Centre are proud to be working in partnership with a leading therapeutic home who require 5 - 7 motivated Therapeutic Support Workers in which children and young people can learn life skills and behaviour whilst providing a safe, resilient, caring and homely environment.

The Residential Children’s Home supports Children and Young People aged 10-17 years of age with Challenging and Emotional Behavioural difficulties that require Therapeutic intervention and support.

Your new role

You will be supporting children and young people with EBD (emotional and behavioural disorders). You will support the young people on a 1 to 1 and group basis, taking a therapeutic-centred approach to ensure their needs are met and as you will be working with young people that may sometimes present behaviours that challenge, strong therapeutic relations will need to be built. This will help to promote a safe, trusting, and professional environment for young people to develop. Additional duties may including things such as general household duties, behavioural/emotional support.

Requirements

  • Full "Right to Work".
  • Full UK driving license.
  • At least 6 months of experience within a Childrens/Young people environment.
  • Residential Child Care or equivalent Lvl 3 (desirable).
