You will be responsible for:
- Safely operate Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations.
- Transport goods to various locations as assigned, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to provide updates on delivery status.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
To be considered for this HGV / LGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Driver role you will need:
- CE Entitlement
- Digi Card & CPC
- No more than 6 points
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading duties if required.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and nights if necessary.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
