Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician
Location: Remote Operation/South Coast Region

Job Description: They are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial settings, demonstrating strong leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. The role covers the an area of Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey and some London areas. Holding a full drivers licence is essential. .
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and handyperson duties
- Clear vegetation
- Conduct PAT Testing
- Handle small plumbing works
- Repair doors
- Install carpet tiles and stair nosings
- Assist other trades and gain skill training
- Procure materials and equipment for tasks
- Complete work sheets via our mobile app
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or similar role
- Expertise in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Excellent customer service skills for professional stakeholder interactions
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting
- Skills in general maintenance activities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
- Knowledge of property services/facilities management preferred, but not essential
- Any previous compliance or trades experience a bonus
- Preferably IPAF/PASMA trained, but not essential
- Able to work unsupervised
- Full clean driving license
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
- Benefits: Vehicle For Work Purposes Provided, Health insurance, Retirement plan and Ongoing training opportunities
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties
