Location: Remote Operation/South Coast Region

Job Description: They are now seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building  Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in commercial settings, demonstrating strong leadership abilities and excellent customer service skills. The role covers the an area of Hampshire/Berkshire/Surrey and some London areas.  Holding a full drivers licence is essential. .

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general maintenance and handyperson duties
  • Clear vegetation
  • Conduct PAT Testing
  • Handle small plumbing works
  • Repair doors
  • Install carpet tiles and stair nosings
  • Assist other trades and gain skill training
  • Procure materials and equipment for tasks
  • Complete work sheets via our mobile app

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance or similar role
  • Expertise in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Excellent customer service skills for professional stakeholder interactions
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and digital tools for reporting
  • Skills in general maintenance activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of property services/facilities management preferred, but not essential
  • Any previous compliance or trades experience a bonus
  • Preferably IPAF/PASMA trained, but not essential
  • Able to work unsupervised
  • Full clean driving license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are essential.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Work Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional on-call duties
