• Job Title - Senior Designer
• Location - Warrington
• Contract Length - 12 months
• Pay rates - Up to £45 an hour (INSIDE IR35)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior designer to work on some of the best projects across the UK for one of the biggest names in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist and advise in method choice to ensure the correct tools for the task are chosen and technical assistance is provided to the allocated team of designers.
• Assist in preparation and production of support for basic detail and production designs in line with recognised ISO standards and to required time, cost and requirement quality.
• Manage the resolution of the production and technical queries and development of discipline solutions for the team in relation to manufacturing and installation issues.
• Act as the point of contact with professional engineering colleagues and various other stakeholders for discipline related issues during design lifecycle, ensure coordination and functionality of designs and contribute to design and reviews.
• Ensure tasks are allocated correctly to the design teams and ensure work is checked and drawings output is maintained in accordance with regulatory standards.

Key qualifications and Skills:

• HNC/HND minimum in a relevant discipline OR equivalent academic qualification
• Working knowledge of CAD tools
• Good knowledge of general engineering drawing practice
• Demonstrable experience in the technical leading of teams that are from multi-disciplined backgrounds.
• Member of relevant professional institute (DESIRED)
• A depth of knowledge in defence projects (DESIRED)
