Role Overview: As a Support Worker with us, you'll be at the heart of our mission, bringing fresh ideas and unwavering commitment to our adult provision services. We're seeking team players who aren't afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty, all while fostering a warm and inclusive atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate meaningful relationships with our Service Users, assisting them with daily activities and empowering their choices.
  • Take on the role of Key Worker for designated Service Users, ensuring their unique needs are met with care and attention.
  • Contribute to meal preparation, adhering to menus and recipes that promote health and well-being.
  • Handle telephone inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Stay sharp and confident through regular training sessions.
  • Uphold our core values, promoting "Dignity in Care" and maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards abuse.
  • Provide personalized care that respects individual autonomy and privacy.
  • Foster an environment of support, communication, and effective complaint resolution.
  • Collaborate with family members and carers as essential partners in our care approach.
  • Actively combat loneliness and isolation among our Service Users.

Requirements:

  • Bring a positive attitude, passion, and a readiness to grow within your role.
  • Prioritize the needs of Service Users with empathy and compassion.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, reliability, accountability, and punctuality.
  • Be flexible to work as part of a team, covering various shifts and unsocial hours to ensure 24-hour care and support.
  • Ideally possess a QCF (NVQ) in Social Care, Level 2 or above. However, apprentices with the right qualities are also encouraged to apply.
