A reputable law firm with offices in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, representing both respondents and individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full range of employment law issues, including both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Provide legal advice and representation to both employers and employees.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
- Conduct litigation in employment tribunals and courts, including preparing and presenting cases.
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancies, TUPE, and discrimination claims.
- Stay updated on changes in employment legislation and case law to ensure clients receive the best advice.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 5 years PQE in employment law.
- Extensive experience in handling a broad range of employment matters.
- Strong litigation skills and experience representing clients in tribunals and courts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive approach to case management and problem-solving.
