We are currently looking to recruit 2 x time served Mechanical Fitters for our client who is expanding in Gateahead.
The role
- To work from drawings
- Be able to work on sub assembly and small items
- Be competent in carrying out general repairs to CNC machinery.
- Experience on Puma, Haas and Mazatrol machines an advantage
- Maintaining CNC machinery, carrying out all necessary repairs and preventative maintenance
- Ensuring machinery is safe and operational following any maintenance interaction
- Hours are 37 Monday to Thursday 7.30 to 5.15 . Flexibility does exist however and as such earlier starts/finish can be considered
- Over time is 1.3 Mon to Friday .1.5 on Saturday and x 2 on Sunday
- 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidsys

The person
- Must be Time served and have Mechanical fitting experience
- Be able to interperet and work from drawings
- Have experience of sub assembly and build of small items essential
- Experience of build of larger components/machines an advantage
- Experience of self-inspection of work an advantage but not essential
- Will be expected to travel internationally to support service on occasion
