23 days holiday, plus bank holidays plus an additional 3-4 days over the Christmas Period.

After 5 years of continuous service the holiday is increased by 2 days and then an additional day for every year worked with a cut off at 5 days.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineering Sales/Account Manager with our Biggin Hill based client who specialise in the manufacture of cutting edge, industrial, high efficiency, hydrogen ready condensing boilers

The unique and innovative boiler design is patented technology and has been made possible by the existing industry-leading manufacturing facilities our client owns in the UK.

This is a progression role, starting out in a Sales/Account Manager capacity – but if the person is ambitious and successful, the plan is for them to eventually head up the company.  

Our clients is seeking a high level person, preferably degree educated that already has a successful and proven track record in engineering sales and account management (Minimum of 10 years). They must have a solid  mechanical engineering background, previous Boiler/Burner experience is be ideal, but not essential but you must have experience within a similar field/industry with the ability to fully understand our technology, production methods and target market. 

The ability to talk to people on the phone from around the world is essential. The main hours for the role are 8.30am – 5.30pm, but because many clients are in different time zones it is essential that the candidate is prepared to apply a degree of flexibility in order to meet the demands of the role.

Salary is offered between £55-£75k (No OTE).

The role is mostly office based in Biggin Hill, but once settled and established, the right candidate will need to travel internationally to visit customers. This is not every month, but could be for 4-5 days every other month.

The role will involve looking for new customers to sell Boilers to, and the client has an existing database of customers that buy their other products already and could be interested in buying the boiler as well.

As the person will not be traveling around the UK, no car will be offered.
