A successful, modern and expanding company within professional services are looking for a HR Administrator to join their close-knit HR team based in St Albans.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to join an established and professional company in the heart of St Albans. The company offer a friendly and supportive working environment!

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the administration of day-to-day HR operations of the HR functions
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to the HR Director, Head of HR and other members of the team
  • To accurately maintain electronic employee records for personnel files
  • To keep the process of training administration up to date
  • On boarding/ Off boarding of staff
  • Drafting a variety of contracts relevant to prospective employees
  • Processing of new starters and leavers
  • Setting up inductions and liaising with relevant Managers and Departments
  • Liaise with the employment reference checking service
  • Coordinate graduate assessment day programmes with HR Officers
  • Respond to on-spec applications and to unsuccessful candidates
  • Book and confirm training courses with relevant training providers
     

What the employer is looking for:

  • Solid administrative experience, ideally within HR but not essential
  • Microsoft Outlook - good working knowledge
  • Able to deal confidently and effectively with staff and partners
  • Organised, able to multitask and meet deadlines calmly
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
  • Hands on, flexible and proactive
  • Have a ‘can do’ attitude
