Pinnacle Recruitment urgently require a Construction Director for a project-based role in the Newbury and Reading areas.

The project is a £350m newbuild scheme of a new science park and will contain a number of buildings that include science and research and offices and it aims to be completed by the end of 2026 where a further £750m scheme will be awarded once completed.

The company is a highly regarded tier 1 main contractor and they have an excellent reputation for staff retention and winning of highly complex large scale projects.

Responsibilities of the role will be:

• Compliance and assurance with regards to all building components associated with safety and fire regs.
• Engaging with the client on all matters including progress, sustainability, objectives and targets
• Construction control plans and to establish a robust monitoring and review process to track performance
• Monitor and approve cost targets and financial forecasts and supply digital documentation of project decision making activity
• Proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations and maintain long term relationships.
• Engage with key stakeholders including the client and other duty holders to ensure statutory obligations are fulfilled.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced construction professional that has an excellent track record of delivering schemes of in and around £100m and has good exposure to steel frame, concrete and associated construction methods.
