Manufacturing Operative
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £24,700+
Hours: 12 Hour shifts, Days and Nights
Contract: Permanent, Full time
Reporting to: Supervisor

Generations People is currently recruiting for Manufacturing Operatives and Recycle Operatives to join a company based in Sheffield specialising in plastic manufacturing, recycling, and printing of Polyolefins, Polypropylene protection products used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Operative role:
- Set up and operate machines to produce products according to specifications.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to ensure quality output.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong mathematical skills for calculating material requirements and machine settings.
- Injection Moulding and/or extrusion setter and operating experience
Skills Required:
- Plastic Machining experience, preferably Injection moulding or extrusion.
- Ideally from a Manufacturing or recycling background
- FLT Counterbalance would be desirable.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
