Systems Data Analyst – 3PL

Full time permanent – Monday – Friday - 2-day WFH option

Salary: £33,000k - £38,000k

Location: St Helens – North West – M62

This is an excellent opportunity to join a large European organisation in a Logistics Systems Analyst role. You will provide Logistics business analytics expertise to this large 3PLcompany across its UK operations, covering: - transport- UK Road, warehouse, storage, shipping form International and other shared services systems.

Key Areas,

• 3PL / Transport Data & analytics
• System projects
• Continuous improvement using data 
• Provide operational support from Transport Management Systems

Responsibilities: -  

• Support the operations and transport planning teams across the UK with data
• Proactively identify business process improvement opportunities and lead business process change.
• Understand internal and external client requirements; propose and deliver fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Lead investigations, stakeholder analysis, requirements analysis, feasibility studies and impact assessments.
• Capture data, modelling analysis, risk & impact e
• Be a point of contact for any issues relating to internal logistics business systems 
• Ensure issues are resolved in timely manner to ensure best service possible to customers.
• Manage major incidents with suppliers ensuring constant communication 
• Produce daily/weekly business reports / Excel reporting – site by site
• Support with the contract P&L, highlighting issue, costs, contract penalties
• Strong understanding of the logistics industry and experience with telematics software.

Person specifications

• IT / Data / maths Qualifications: BSc or equivalent logistics business sector experience
• 3PL / Transport Data & analytics
• Excellent attention to detail & report writing
