We're delighted to be helping a successful financial services business in Lutterworth to recruit a skilled Pension & Investment Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, well-reputed local team who are trusted financial advisors to a large portfolio of clients.

Hours, salary and benefits:

  • 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • £22,000 - £30,000
  • 25 days' holidays (+ bank holidays)

As Pension & Investment Administrator, you'll have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Obtaining current fund values for investments and creating reports from this information for customers
  • Carrying out various research activities to assist in the advice process with clients
  • Supporting the production of pensions, life and investments valuations and quotes
  • Contributing to organisation and planning through introducing new and improved procedures
  • Managing he distribution of customers' letters of authority in order to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Undertaking general administrative duties (e.g. scanning, filing, preparing letters, telephone calls etc)
  • Generating client-facing documents in order to complete the advice process
  • Managing platform funds on an ongoing basis in order to meet customer requirements
  • Continually maintaining and developing technical, product and industry knowledge

We're looking for a Pension & Investment Administrator with the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive previous experience of providing similar administrative support to an IFA, or within a similar financial services or wealth management business
  • CII Level 3 Certification or Level 4 Diploma would be beneficial but is not essential
  • IT proficient, with a good working knowledge of MS Office
  • Sound understanding of the pensions and investment sector
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Well organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Enjoys working in a busy environment, and demonstrates a positive and proactive approach
