Lawyer – Sheffield

Salary: £40.00 to £50.00 an Hour

Full-Time (37 hours)

Contract: Six Months – Possibly beyond

Legal Services is seeking passionate, creative-thinking Lawyers that want to make a difference to join our Corporate Governance and Regulatory Team doing SEND Tribunal work.

We are looking for versatile Lawyers with a “can do” approach to provide legal advice and support on all aspects of special educational needs, to include but not limited to decision making, policy and procedure.

The successful candidates will need to have good technical knowledge and experience in special educational needs and be able to manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals, including advocacy in case management hearings and final hearings in the First Tier SEND Tribunal, with minimum supervision.

Applicants must be organised and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision while still being a valuable team player.  Applicants must also have excellent communication skills enabling them to build strong relationships with clients.
