PE Teacher

Location: Medway

Start Date: September 2024

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Salary: £120 to £250 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join one of our client schools in Medway. This full-time, long-term position offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire students and promote physical education and healthy lifestyles.

Physical Education Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy living.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to support their development.
• Organise and oversee extra-curricular sports activities and events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to physical education.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements for PE Teacher role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching PE in secondary schools.
• Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for physical education and the ability to inspire students.
• Commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.
