A brilliant opportunity has opened in the Essex region with a well-established consultancy who are looking to speak with enthusiastic Graduates who are looking to kick start their career!

We are looking for the successful candidate to have experience with a BSc within any Town Planning related fields (Geography) or an MSc within Town Planning! This role has become available due to being busy with new projects within minerals and waste and EIA projects where you will be supporting the Senior Town Planner whilst working in a busy office environment of 20 staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Degree in a relevant discipline (Geography, Environmental Science, Town and Country Planning or similar),
  • Basic knowledge of the UK planning policy and legislation, and preferably EIA legislation,
  • Able to work on own initiative and under pressure,
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills,
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Powerpoint; and
  • A UK Driving Licence - The sites are in the Southeast and Greater London area, so it is essential that the candidate is a confident driver and able to make their way to the sites and the office.

You will be provided with a company car to attend site visits.
