Hybrid Role ** approx 2 days on site ; covering sites at  Dartford, Sidcup & Erith  

This is an exciting and unique role for somebody who really enjoys working with people, understanding their needs and looking after their wellbeing whilst they are at work, offering guidance, mentoring and being a guardian to listen, understand and deal with any issues or work related problems 

You will be looking after 3 sites within the trust covering Dartford, Sidcup and Erith and you will be engaging with the staff on these sites, ensuring they can come to you in a confidential manner to discuss any work related issues, worries or concerns they may have, opening up conversations & dialogues and then assist & support  them in any next steps they may want to take

You will also have various forms of contact with HR Teams, Trust Staff and Senior Management  to keep them informed &  updated with any ongoing cases, leading meetings where necessary.

This is very much a guidance and guardian role and you will need to draw on your skills and experience offering support in all forms of communications along with an understanding of trusts polices and procedures, HR employee rights & legislation etc

Keep updated and accurate reports for each Trust site and updating your team @ HO whilst also complying with GDPR & data protection laws ,  & also  company services policies  and procedures

Experience & Skills

Ideally you will have proven working experience within social environments and dealing with sensitive and difficult issues, perhaps from industries such as;

HR, Employee Law, Training & Development, Teaching, Emergency services, Pastoral Care, Counsellor, Social Services, Care Industry, Adult care, Liaison Officer, Housing Officer, Community services

Some formal related qualifications in the above career disciplines would be desirable for this role, for you to draw on and utilise in the role

Ability to demonstrate communication with all disciplines/grades  of staff upto CEO level

Basic knowledge of Employment law, Equality Act and data protection   

Proven experience leading a team

Ability to lead meetings and deliver presentations

Experience in leading online meetings, TEAMS/Zoom etc

Report generation and present findings

Proven experience in areas such as a mediator, problem solver  and in conflict resolution

Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with everyone you meet in a kind,

non judgemental and caring way

Demonstrating  patience, understanding and empathy in relation to people’s worries and issues

Accountable decision maker

You will ideally need to be a driver  to be able to visit the trusts in your area – travel expenses paid

A competent package is on offer and also this role if offered on with hybrid working ** - flexible working with visits to your sites 2 days per week

All offers are subject to successfully passing vetting procedures – DBS

  • **40 hrs per week – with flexibility around the hours of 8.00am  - 6.00pm; Mon – Fri
