Location: Leeds (Minimum 2 days a week in the office)
Project Scope: Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTW) & Sewage Treatment Works (STW)
Contract Duration: 6-12 months
Rate: Up to £400 p/d
 
Job Description:
We are seeking one, possibly two, experienced Civil engineers to join our team for a detailed design phase of a concrete containment scheme for a large STW in Yorkshire and other Wastewater projects in the region. This role involves working on reinforced concrete (RC) design and sheet piling design as the key responsibilities.
 
We are looking for somebody who has previously worked on AMP related water projects,The business we are working with has contracts secured with Yorkshire Water for a prestigious project for Yorkshire water, rolling into AMP8.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Participate in the detailed design phase of a concrete containment scheme.
·Develop and design reinforced concrete structures.
·contribute to sheet piling design for the project.
·Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
·Prepare design documentation and calculations.
Requirements:
·Proven experience in civil engineering with a focus on RC design.
·Experience in sheet piling design is a plus.
·Proficiency in CAD is desirable but not essential.
·Must be able to work from the Leeds office a minimum of 2 days a week.
· 
Contract Details:
·This position is a contract role outside IR35.
·The contract is for a minimum period of 6 months, most likely extended up to 12 months with the possibility of extension based on project needs.
