Our client are a leading rail infrastructure provider working on the Central Rail Systems Alliance. They are looking for a P6 Planner to work in either Doncaster, Leeds, York, Darlington or Middlesborough.

Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the scheduling and integration of all deliverables into the wider enhancement programme,

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prepare project progress reports for the Programme Manager
• Ensure the area progress is submitted in line with company policy
• Attend and plan review meetings with area project teams to facilitate early identification of risks and opportunities
• Maintain a robust and integrated schedule
• Ensure the KPI for the timely acceptance and non acceptance of vendor programmes is maintained

Essential Requirements:

• Working experience of project planning for projects of substantial value
• Strong working experience with resource loading and earned value management using Primavera P6 Professional
• Experience working in highly regulated industry

Desirable:

• Rail industry experience
• Experience working within an alliance environment
