Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Counsellor to work within a specialist addictions service in South Cheshire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will be working in a residential setting for service users who present with substance misuse delivering group work and 121 sessions. The post holder may be required to support the running of the centre along with supervising volunteers and those on placement.

Contract type – permanent

Hours – Full time (40 hours per week)

Salary - £26,500 - £28,000 FTE

Experience required:

Counsellors applying will have completed the level 4 diploma in counselling along with having previous experience working with substance misuse and delivering the 12 steps programme.
