Migrant Employment Lead
Oxfordshire County Council are seeking a skilled and experienced Migrant Employment Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing employment and qualifications conversion support to an increasing number of newly arrived migrants
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to support the employment and ESOL needs of migrants in Oxfordshire
- Provide guidance and support to migrants in their job search process, including CV writing and interview preparation
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers to create employment opportunities for migrants
- Manage and coordinate ESOL classes for migrants to improve their language skills and employability
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and policies related to migrant employment and ESOL
Requirements:
- Careers/Employment and ESOL experience/knowledge
- Qualification in EAL/ESOL - Level 3 or above
- English Language, Mathematics and ICT GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent
