As our client continues to expand their nationwide footprint, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Showroom Manager to join their team and lead the operations at this new location. Salary: £27,000

Location: Stevenage

Contract: Full-time permanent, 5-day week including weekend shifts

The Showroom Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring an outstanding customer experience, and driving sales performance. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage a team, maintain high standards of visual merchandising, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a small team of showroom staff, providing training, support, and motivation.
  • Ensure the showroom is visually appealing, maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
  • Identifying areas of development by following market trends and making improvements where needed.
  • Ensuring that your team have up to date product knowledge and greet every customer with warmth and patience.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets using upselling / cross selling techniques.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues aiming for first time resolution.
  • Communicate regularly with the head office and the network of Nationwide showrooms to share ideas and encourage best practice.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is accurately recorded and replenished.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including staff rotas, payroll, and wage cost management.
  • Following all policies and procedures
  • Cashing up and banking

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Showroom Manager or in a similar retail management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel.
A customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Ability to analyse sales data and develop strategies to improve performance.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.

£27,000 basic salary plus on-target earnings (OTE including salary ranging up to £34k)

Full-time hours - 40-hours a week over a 5-day working week that includes weekend work and may include bank holiday work
