Asset Engineer (Buildings) - Expiring soon!

GTS Transportation is currently seeking an Asset Engineer to join our client in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the asset portfolio including buildings, footbridges, canopies, and platforms.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget for building assets.
- Oversee and deliver the Asbestos Management programme.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety, cost, programme, and quality requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to meet asset strategies.
- Maintain asset registers and update shared drives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Network Rail and London Underground.
- Comply with procurement and financial governance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Asset Engineer/Manager.
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with railway electrical systems and relevant hazards.
- Proficiency in design software; AutoCAD is a plus.
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and ability to manage multi-discipline projects.
- Strong decision-making, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional Registration with an accredited body or working towards registration.
- BSc/BEng degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Personal Track Safety competence and SMSTS advantageous.
- Knowledge of Network Rail Standards and operations.
