Pertemps Milton Keynes currently looking to recruit experienced Van Drivers for our client based in Milton Keynes.
  
The Role
As a Long Distance Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to multiple locations over long distances. Your role will involve ensuring all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, while providing exceptional customer service.

• Efficiently load, transport, and deliver goods to various locations.
• Plan routes to maximise efficiency and meet delivery schedules.
• Conduct vehicle checks to ensure road worthiness and report any issues.
• Handle goods with care and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the dispatch team.
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.

Start times:     0600
Shifts:              Monday to Friday
Rates:              12.50ph
 
 
 
Requirements
Due to the nature of the contract, successful applicants will possess the following skills and attributes:
Valid UK driving license (Category B or higher).
Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver, preferably in long-distance roles.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong geographical knowledge of [your region/country].
Ability to work independently and handle the physical demands of the job.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Flexible and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
A minimum of 12 months multidrop driving experience. 
Less than 6 points on your licence, for insurance purposes.
