Freelance Senior Site Engineer required for Setting Out Piling, Groundworks and structural works for large industrial Unit for the Main Contractor

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to oversee and manage the setting out of extensive piling works for a large industrial unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all piling works are carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with the project schedule.

Recent experience on large industrial units or regional distribution centres will be required for this vacancy

Responsibilities:
Set out piling works in accordance with the project drawings and specifications
Liaise with the project team, including the Project Manager and subcontractors, to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the project schedule
Monitor and control the quality of the piling works
Manage the construction site to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of all work carried out on site

Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or HNC in related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering, with a focus on piling works
Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction practices
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance on the construction site
Proficient in the use of CAD and other relevant software
SMSTS & CSCS card.
