As Engineering Manager you will report into the Site Director and be of Graduate calibre.  Within this challenging role you will have a level of autonomy and an opportunity to make a significant difference to the continued success of this major organisation whilst having fully autonomy and responsibility for the Engineering strategy.  Other key accountabilities will be to coach and mentor your team to ensure genuine succession planning – this is something that the business prides itself on.

You will be setting and working to KPI's that will cover Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale.  A forward thinking individual with a sound understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques such as OEE, 5S SMED, TPM, PPM – we are seeking people who can clearly and confidently outline what they delivered but more importantly how they delivered it.

You should be able to give examples of completed projects and how you have lead projects, as this company have plenty of projects up and coming so you need to ready to roll!

Coming from within a food manufacturing environment, the ideal candidate will be of a ‘can do attitude’ who is able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be an ambitious person who enjoys taking on challenges and responsibilities and wanting to play a key part in a strong, dynamic management team. A charismatic individual you will have an empowering and engaging management style and have track record of succeeding through your team.
