Salary: £33 per hour

Rotherham Council is seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to join our Adult Localities Team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to support adults in Rotherham, promoting independence, well-being, and ensuring their needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting assessments and developing care plans for adults in assigned localities.
• Providing support, intervention, and advocacy to enhance quality of life and independence.
• Collaborating closely with health professionals, support services, and external agencies.
• Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews to ensure coordinated care and support.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult services.
• Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in adult social care.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to support.
