£30,000 - £45,000/annum

A growing law firm in Macclesfield is seeking an experienced Employer Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL) Solicitor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with extensive experience in EL and PL claims to advance their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of EL and PL claims from inception to trial.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and trial bundles.
  • Liaise with clients, counsel, and other parties to ensure effective case management and resolution.
  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding their claims and potential outcomes.
  • Attend court hearings and advocate on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in handling OL, EL, and PL claims.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legal principles and procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage claims independently and take cases through to trial.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
