Job Summary: As a Site Manager for their flat roofing and waterproofing projects, you'll be instrumental in driving the success of their installations from start to finish. Drawing on your experience in construction management and your knowledge of waterproofing systems, you'll oversee site operations, coordinate project activities, and ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership: Take ownership of flat roofing and waterproofing projects, providing strategic direction and leadership to ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
  2. Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day site activities, including coordinating subcontractors, scheduling deliveries, and overseeing the installation of waterproofing systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
  3. Health and Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety protocols and regulations on-site, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of workmanship and materials, identifying and addressing any deficiencies promptly to uphold the integrity and longevity of installed systems.
  5. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Construction Management Experience: Proven experience in site management, preferably in the installation of flat roofing and waterproofing systems or related construction projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of waterproofing systems, construction techniques, and industry best practices, with the ability to interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve challenges encountered during project execution and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Health and Safety Certification: Valid certification in health and safety management (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid) is preferred.
