Force Recruitment are looking for a skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and oversee various civil engineering projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications, implementing quality control measures.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations and other legal requirements.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in the civil engineering sector.
  • Relevant professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Proficient in project management software and tools.
    • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
