Description

• Lead the design and development of new industrial products.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Utilise CAD software to create and modify designs.
• Participate in product testing and validation activities.
• Liaise with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Contribute to project planning and time line development.
• Research and implement new design techniques and technologies.
• Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team.

Profile

A successful Senior Design Engineer should have:

• A degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3D modelling & 2D detailing using CAD software (CREO, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS or other similar).
• BOM maintenance (Bills of material) on business planning software
• Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes (e.g. plastic injection mouldings).
• Familiar with DFMEA analysis and documentation
• Familiarity with integrating electrical systems into mechanical design.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
• An innovative approach to design and development.
